WELCOME TO Ms. Chavez-E classroom!
I am delighted to have your child in our classroom and embark in yet another adventure!
I am an original el pasoan and lived here most of my life. I obtained my B.Science and Masters of Arts of Teaching from UTEP, CAP (counseling) through Region 19. I am certified Bilingual, GT, ESL, Spanish, Elementary teacher. In addition I count with a completed Modern Languages degree under Liberal Arts and three fourths completion towards a Psychology Bachelors degree. Delighted to be an educator for 26 years with EPISD, and counting...
I have two beautiful daughters and one grandson whom I enjoy playing with. I also love pets as I have a mix Husky/ Great Dane Angel, three cats; Dimitri, KitKat, Chiquis, a water turtle Jill, two sand box turtles Loui & Bella, Koi fish in a pond and fresh water fish in an aquarium.I love plants and do seem to have a "green thumb". I love to swim, run/ power walk, paint read, listen to music, go to movies, eat good food, play with technology, sight seeing....too many hobbies to name them all.
Most important, I love to work with children. I just see so much potential in them as they are our future, and they keep me young :). Looking forward to have your child in our classroom!
Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions or concerns. You may do so by calling the school to set up a conference [except for Wednesdays and Fridays] at 774-7725. Please allow for a 24 hour advance notice. Another means of communicating is via email. Please contact me at [email protected] or leaving a message on my blog (last tab in this web). As you can see, our classroom website is now available, and it is a great source of information.

If you filled this "Technology Survey" at one of the other tabs, you do not need to do it again. It's just in case you missed it while browsing. Thank you.
